Excite® speakers by Crestron® offer great sound quality, excellent value, and easy installation for multi-room audio and home theater applications. The Excite IC6DT model provides a single in-ceiling speaker featuring a 6-1/2 inch dual voice coil woofer and dual 3/4 inch dome tweeters. Power handling is an impressive 75 Watts (program) per channel, with a wide frequency response from 55 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB). The Excite IC6DT affords stereo sound in the space of a single speaker, perfect for bathrooms, hallways, walk-in closets, and other small spaces.Rigidly constructed, Excite speakers are designed to enable a nearly flush installation when mounted in a typical drywall surface. A professional installation is easily achieved utilizing four toggle clamps integrated into each speaker baffle. Additional suspension hangers assist in the installation by preventing the speaker from falling out of the hole prior to tightening the toggle clamps. The white textured finish blends cleanly into any neutral-colored ceiling, and may be painted for an inconspicuous appearance against any colored surface. For indoor use only.
